2) What Happens After We Receive a Valid Notice

Once we receive a complete and valid DMCA notice, we may:

  • Remove or disable access to the content identified in the notice

  • Notify the party who posted or is associated with the content (if applicable)

  • Take reasonable steps to comply with the DMCA

We may request additional information if your notice is incomplete or unclear.


3) Counter-Notification (If You Believe It Was Removed by Mistake)

If you believe content was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a DMCA counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature

  2. Identification of the material removed/disabled and the location where it appeared before removal

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification

  4. Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address (or if outside the U.S., a district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice (or their agent)

If a valid counter-notice is received, we may restore the removed content unless the original complaining party files a court action within the DMCA timeframe.


4) False Claims Warning

Submitting a DMCA notice or counter-notice with false information can have legal consequences. Please make sure you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf before filing.


5) Repeat Infringers

Where appropriate, we may suspend or terminate access for parties who are repeat infringers or repeatedly submit infringing content.
